TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. JBSCO extends this warranty to the original/first purchaser for personal household use of the “Kitchen Sink & Fittings” in its original location. The warranty is non-transferable.
2. The warranty for any product begins on the date the invoice is generated and can be claimed by providing a valid proof of purchase (invoice). Customers are advised to keep the original invoice and warranty card safe. Repairs or replacements will be handled by the company’s service center or authorized service associates.
3. All costs and expenses related to the repair or service of the products, including a) travel expenses of service personnel and b) transportation of the product and/or spare parts from JBSCO’s branch office or authorized service franchisee to the customer’s location and back, shall be entirely borne by the customer at prevailing rates. JBSCO shall not be responsible for any damage caused to the product during transit or delivery for repair.
4. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from negligence, misuse, improper installation, lack of care, accidents, hard water buildup, mineral deposits, exposure to corrosive substances, incorrect application, improper maintenance, product modifications, or failure to follow the provided care and installation guidelines. Refrain from using harsh cleaning agents such as powders, bleach, ammonia, alcohol, or chlorine. Additionally, avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, or wire brushes, as they can cause damage and degrade the finish.
5. This warranty does not include labor costs or expenses related to the removal and reinstallation of the product. It also does not cover incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, delays, property damage, or any other related losses. JBSCO assumes no responsibility for such damages.
6. If any damage is found due to customer mishandling, unauthorized repairs, or misuse as determined by authorized service personnel, the warranty will be void. Any repairs in such cases will be subject to part availability and will be chargeable.
7. The replacement of parts is solely at JBSCO’s discretion. If a full unit replacement is required (as determined by JBSCO), the same model will be provided. However, if the model has been discontinued, it will be replaced with a model of equivalent value at the time of purchase.
8. If any colored internal or external components are replaced, JBSCO does not guarantee an exact shade match with the original or existing parts. Variations in shades, patterns, and tints may occur due to regular use over time. Any additional component replacements requested by the customer will be chargeable, except for the parts that are deemed necessary for replacement.
9. While the company will strive to complete repairs as soon as possible, it is expressly stated that there is no obligation to do so within a specific timeframe.
10. If incorrect GST credentials and information are provided during the online ordering process on the website, they cannot be modified once the order has been dispatched.
11. This warranty does not cover any indirect or direct liability, damage, or loss to property or life resulting from any issues with JBSCO’s products. The company’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing defective parts within the warranty period.
12. The warranty does not cover the demonstration/installation of the product purchased.
13. The warranty does not cover components like washers, Rubbers, Springs and other plastic items.
14. The warranty does not cover any accessories external to the product. After completion of one year, in case/s other than manufacturing defects found in RUHE products, standard labour and parts charges will be collected from customers, as per prevailing rates of the company.
15. Before installing the new JBSCO’s faucet, the customer must ensure that the existing water supply pipelines are properly cleaned and free from debris, sediment, or blockages.
16. Customers should refrain from disposing of reverse osmosis (RO) reject water in standard sinks or drains, as its high corrosiveness can damage the sink surface and waste pipe. It is recommended to direct RO reject water straight into the drainage system.
17. Products bought at a fixed price are not eligible for price adjustments, refunds, or cancellations if they are later offered at a discounted rate.
HOW TO CLAIM WARRANTIES?
1. Each JBSCO’s product comes with a specific warranty period, and warranty claims can only be made within the designated timeframe.
Warranty Claim Process:
To initiate a warranty claim, you must send the following via Email or WhatsApp:
- Proof of Purchase (Invoice)
- Order ID
- Images and a video of the defective product
2. Our Customer Support Executive will contact you within 24-48 hours of receiving your request to guide you through the next steps.
3. If a product replacement is required under warranty, you will be responsible for covering the one-way shipping cost to send the defective item to us.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty will not be applicable or shall be void in the following cases:
1. If the original proof of purchase (invoice) and/or warranty card is not presented to authorized service personnel at the time of repair. Service will still be provided, but on a chargeable basis as per standard labor and parts rates at that time.
2. If the product is not installed or used as per the instructions provided in the installation or user manual.
3. If the site conditions where the product is installed do not meet the recommended operating conditions outlined in the instruction manual.
4. Defects caused by improper use, negligent handling, misuse, tampering, lack of care, or unauthorized repairs or alterations as determined by the company.
5. Corrosion or rusting of stainless steel due to hard water and toxic sewage gases (It is recommended to use 304-grade stainless steel for better resistance).
6. Defects arising from uncontrollable external factors, including but not limited to:
- Natural calamities such as earthquakes and cyclones.
- Acts of God.
- Customer negligence or improper use.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Exposure to acids, chemicals, or harsh cleaning agents like phenyls.
- Damage due to improper installation, maintenance, modification, or unauthorized adjustments.
- Use of third-party components or accessories affecting product performance.
- Any failure caused by third-party components will not be covered under warranty.
- Damage caused by household pets, rats, cockroaches, lizards, or other insects/animals.
- Purchase from an unauthorized dealer.
- Improper handling, cleaning, or maintenance.
7. Rusting, corrosion, or damage to the sink or waste pipe due to prolonged and continuous exposure to RO reject water.
8. This warranty automatically expires at the end of the warranty period, regardless of whether the product has been used or not during that time. For JBSCO products sold in India, only this warranty document is applicable, and any reference to another warranty document will not be considered. This is JBSCO’s exclusive written warranty.
